Violin and Piano Tuition in Worthing

While I am primarily a piano and violin teacher, I also offer lessons in music theory and assist my clients as a piano accompanist. I provide my services as a music teacher to students of all abilities in the Worthing area.

So whether you are an absolute beginner or an experienced musician looking to brush up on a certain technique or style, I would love to help you. The purpose of the page is to give you a brief summary of each of the services I offer.

Piano Tuition

I have so much fun playing the piano and I do everything I can to ensure that you have fun in my lessons too. What can you expect to learn in every piano lesson? Well, that’s up to you. You can learn to play the latest chart hits, swing numbers, well-known classical pieces and everything in between.

I will teach you to read music and the end goal is to have students playing the piano fluently. I will also give you little challenges at the end of every piano lesson. This way, you can go home and have fun practising what you’ve learned each week. I teach students piano from the age of 4 years upwards.

Violin Tuition

Learning to play the violin can be very challenging, especially if you don’t play any other instruments. For this reason, it can take some time for students to be able to carry a recognisable tune on the violin. Even so, the violin is a wonderfully expressive instrument that is often used by composers to convey emotion. If you are willing to put some time and effort into learning, I assure you your effort will be rewarded!

I teach violin to students from the age of 5 years upwards. My approach with younger students is to introduce musical games with an emphasis on fun and enjoyment with each violin lesson in Worthing.
